46. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend health infants be
placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by physicians.
47. Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a
child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings
over a bassinet/carrycot or cradle or attach strings to toys.
48. Strangulation Hazard: Child can strangle in loose restraint straps. NEVER
leave child in carrier when straps are loose or undone.
49. Use a harness as soon as your child can sit unaided.
50. Use only the pad provided by the manufacturer.
51. Suffocation Hazard: Infant carrier can roll over on soft surfaces and
suffocate child. NEVER place carriers on beds, sofas, or other soft surfaces.

Infants can suffocate:
- In gaps between an extra pad and side of the bassinet/carrycot/cradle
- On soft bedding.
NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY the pad
provided by Bugaboo.

52. Always use the wrist strap when in two wheel position.
53. Do not use the bassinet or car seat in the two wheel position.
