6. Always make sure that the batteries you are using are still adequate to operate
the device. The device requires 6-volt alkaline batteries, easily available from
Multivet.
7. Never fi ll the device with any other substance than the one provided by
Multivet. Using another substance, as well as opening the device, will void the
manufacturer's warranty.
8. If your dog tries to take off the device, a harness can be used instead of the
collar provided in the kit. Dog harnesses are available in all good pet shops.
9. The hypo-allergenic spray can is a pressurized container. Do not pierce it, heat
it or dispose of it in a fi re as it may explode. Please read instructions on the
can.
10. Do not expose the device neither to freezing temperatures nor to conditions
warmer than 113 °F (45 °C). Be particularly careful not to leave the device in
direct sunlight, either by a window or in a car on a summer day, etc.
11. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. This will invalidate the warranty
and make repairing more diffi cult. If the spray commander doesn't work, call
our toll-free customer service: 1-800-303-0244.
Most technical problems can be solved by making a simple telephone call to
our customer service. When calling us, please have your device on hand with its
serial number.
The device is activated by radio signals sent by the Spray Commander remote
control. The strength of the signal may be affected by environmental conditions,
topological features and electromagnetic interference.
This being a radio frequency device, battery consumption can be elevated.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If you have problems with your Spray Commander Remote Control:
1. Make sure that both the device (receiver collar) and the transmitter (remote)
have the same ID number (ex. R915 ID 01 for the receiver, and T915 01 for the
transmitter).
