Radio
The instrument transmits radio energy during normal operation. To avoid
possible harmful exposure to this energy, do not stand or work for extended
periods of time in front of its antenna. The long -term characteristics or the
possible physiological effects of Radio Frequency Electromagnetic fields
have not been yet fully investigated.
Antenna Installation and Grounding
Be sure that the antenna is properly installed to eliminate any physical
hazard to either people or property. Make sure that the installation of the
antenna and cables is performed in accordance with all relevant national
and local safety codes.
A good ground plane is necessary for optimal RF performance.
