• Press # repeatedly to switch between these input methods;
• Press and hold # to quickly switch between Number input method and other
input methods;
■ Predictive pinyin input method
With predictive pinyin input method, you only need press the number keys on
which pinyin symbols are printed to input the pinyin of Chinese characters.
For example, to input "kuai", you only need to press 5, 8, 2, 4.
The pinyin letters (pinyin letters combinations) displayed on the screen change
with pressing the number keys. Ignore these changes before you finish inputting
the last pinyin letter.
Use predictive pinyin input method
1. Input pinyin letters and tone marks:
Press the corresponding number keys to input pinyin letters for each Chinese
character. Press the key 1 repeatedly to enter your desired tone mark.
2. Find different matching items: If there are several pinyin combinations
matching the number key you pressing, press * to find other possible
matching items.
You can enter tone mark firstly, or find matching item firstly, both are OK.
3. Clear pinyin letters or tone marks: Press
marks to the left of the cursor. Press and hold
tone marks to the left of the cursor more quickly.
4. Input Chinese characters: Press 0 to flip the candidate list; Press the left or
right scroll key to highlight the desired Chinese character, then press
select the highlighted Chinese character.
5. Predictive: Your phone can predictive the next Chinese character which
could make up a phrase with the first inputted Chinese character. Press 0 to
flip the candidate list; Press the left or right scroll key to highlight the desired
