Operation
Risk of fire with overheated food.
Unattended food can overheat and
catch alight.
Do not leave the hob unattended
whilst it is being used.
Please note that the heating up time
on induction hobs is very much
shorter than on conventional hobs.

Switching on the hob

 Touch the  sensor.
More sensors will light up. If no further
entry is made, the hob will switch itself
off after a few seconds for safety
reasons.

Setting the power level

Permanent pan recognition is
activated as standard (see
"Programming"). When the hob is
switched on and you place a pan on
one of the cooking zones, all the
sensors in the numerical keybank light
up.
 Place a pan on the cooking zone you
want to use.
 Touch the appropriate number sensor
for the power level you want.

Switching off

 To switch a cooking zone off, touch
the  sensor on the appropriate
keybank.
 To switch off the hob and all the
cooking zones, touch the  sensor.

Residual heat indicator

If the cooking zone is still hot, the
residual heat indicator will light up after
the zone has been switched off.
Depending on the temperature, a dot
will appear above power levels 1, 2 and
3.
The dots of the residual heat indicator
will go out one after another as the
cooking zone cools down. The last dot
only goes out when the cooking zone is
safe to touch.
Risk of burning due to hot
cooking zones.
The cooking zones will be hot after
use.
Do not touch the cooking zones
while the residual heat indicators are
on.
