- Page 7 The Solahart Retrofit Battery system consists of the following components: Battery Inverter – converts power between AC and DC to charge and discharge the LG CHEM RESU10H Note: For safety reasons, the Battery Inverter will only operate when the mains electrical supply is available from the grid.
- Page 8 ABOUT YOUR BATTERY SYSTEM SUNNY HOME MANAGER (OPTIONAL) Sunny Home Manager is an optional device that can be installed as part of the battery system. It is connected to the battery inverter, energy meter(s) and any SMA PV inverter via an Ethernet switch/router. For full functionality it must also be connected to the Internet by means of a modem/router.

OPERATING PROCEDURES TO TURN PV AND BATTERY SYSTEM ON Turn ON Battery internal Auxiliary Switch (if applicable) and internal circuit breaker switch (refer to Battery Operating Manual) Turn ON Battery DC Isolator(s) located adjacent to inverter. Turn ON PV Array DC Isolator(s) located adjacent to inverter. Turn ON the Inverter AC Isolator at the Inverter (if installed) and the Solar Supply Main Switch at the AC switchboard. -
