INSTRUM ENT S ER IA L NUMBERS
Each instrum ent has a serial num ber on a panel insert, tag,
o r stam ped on the chassis. The firs t num ber or letter
designates the co u n try o f m anufacture. The last five digits
o f the serial num ber are assigned sequentially and are
unique to each instrum ent. Those m anufactured in the
United S tates have six unique digits. The country o f
m anufacture is identified as follow s:

100000 T ektronix Guernsey, Ltd., Channel Islands
200000 Tektronix United Kingdom , Ltd., London
300000 S ony/T ektronix, Japan
