Command Line Interface
Command Usage
• To enable Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP), use the
authentication command to select the "shared key"
authentication type, use the encryption command to
specify the key length, and use the key command to
configure at least one key.
• If WEP is enabled, all wireless clients must be configured
with the same shared keys to communicate with the access
point.
• The encryption length specified in the encryption
command and the key command must match.
• The encryption index, length and type configured in the
access point must match those configured in the clients.

This command sets the index of the key to be used for encrypting
data frames broadcast or multicast from the access point to
wireless clients.
