Running the computer on its
battery
This section explains how to run your computer
on its battery pack.
1. Disconnect the AC adapter from your
computer and press the power button to
start the computer.
The operating time of the battery pack
shortens when it is used in a cold place.
The chargeability of the battery pack
decreases after it has been used over a
long period of time. If the battery runs
down very fast, replace it with a new
battery.
When an add-on modular bay battery is
connected to the computer, it is also
discharged along with the internal
battery pack.
Checking the power level of
the battery
When the computer is turned on or the battery is
being charged, the power level indicator lights
up or blinks to let you know the state of charge
of the internal battery pack.
