    ▶ Do not operate the machine if it cannot be switched on and off correctly at the control switch. Damaged or faulty switches must be replaced at a Hilti service center. ▶ Do not abuse the electric supply cable. Never use the supply cable to carry, suspend, pull or unplug the machine.

    7.1.1 Installing the rail and flush-cutting saw head ▶ When installing, make sure that the saw blade does not come into contact with the material, as otherwise friction losses would reduce the saw's performance. ▶ Allow approx. 5 mm of extra clearance between saw blade and material, or use the leveling screws rail support to set the saw to a slight angle.
