Adjustment of Gap Between Print Head and Platen

Procedures

Power on the printer while
holding down the [SW3] and
[SW4] buttons.

Insert paper of 55 Kg keeping
it to the most left.
Remove paper.

Adjustment(1st position)
Press [SW2] to widen gap.
Press [SW3] to narrow gap.
Press [SW1] to move carriage.
A. Left
B. Right
C. Center
D. Right of center

Finish and memory
Press [SW4] button.
5 Short beeps and enters the head gap
adjustment mode.
Loads paper authomatically,senses
paper thickness and ejects it backward
while keeping the current head
gap.(Insert paper again if ejected
forward.)
Paper needs to be removed.
+Area:[LED A] LED is blinking.
-Area:[LED B] LED is blinking.
<A,B,C>
Set head gap at A,B and C.
Head Gap : 0.39-0.47mm
<D>
Set card holder gap at D.
Standard : 0.16-0.30

Memorizes head gap and exits from
the head gap adjustment mode.
