T Fit the cover of the dual spout. It will click into place audibly.
T Insert the milk pipe into the dual spout.
Your GIGA no longer has to be descaled if you are using the CLARIS
Blue filter cartridge. If the water hardness is 10° dH or more, we rec-
ommend using the filter cartridge.
If you did not activate the filter cartridge the first time you used the
machine, you can do this now as follows.
E Perform the 'inserting the filter' operation without any inter-
ruptions. This will ensure that your GIGA always produces its
best.
Precondition: 'Please select product:'
O T Press the P button.
'Maintenance status (1/5)'
g T Turn the Rotary Switch until the programme item
settings (3/5)'
T Press the 'Maintenance settings'
T Press the 'Filter'
'Filter'
T Press the 'Active'
T Press the 'Save'
'Saved' appears briefly on the display.
'Insert filter.'
T Remove the filter cartridge extension from the Welcome
Pack.
