Notes:
1. For freshwater systems we recommend using the same time
periods given above, but using half the ozone concentration for
the applicable water volume. When using with small freshwater
aquariums you may need to reduce the timer value i.e. a 50 litre
freshwater aquarium should have the initial and final setting of
1 LED for ozone and 1 LED for time.
2. ORP/Redox potential is a measure in millivolts of how much the
chemical composition of water wants to reduce the oxygen level.
As ozone oxidises and neutralises these chemicals it is possible to
use this as a measurement of the effectiveness of ozone.
3. It is recommended that the ORP/Redox potential in the water
does not exceed 400mV. An ORP/Redox potential higher than
this may be harmful to fish, invertebrates and nitrifying bacteria
in your system. A good range to aim for is between 300mV and
380mV.This can be checked using an ORP/Redox measuring
instrument. The desired ORP/Redox level may initially take several
days to be achieved.

4. The V
Ozone Generator can also be controlled by an ORP/Redox
controller which has the facility to switch on and off the mains
power to your V
being used, it is recommended that you program both the

Ozone Generator's timer and ozone concentration to
