    3 Function Description 3. Function Description The Range of the Input Voltage If the input voltage varies, it might excess the accuracy of the voltage regulator. Contact us for details. When using with DC input, external DC fuse is required for protection against power supply failure.

    3 Function Description Inrush Currents This unit contains rush current suppression circuit. If you are to use a switch, make sure it withstands inrush currents. As a power thermistor is used for inrush current suppression, be sure the unit is cool enough when restarting input soon after turning on the power.

    3 Function Description How to Mount Appropriate screw length should be within 6mm from the outside of the power unit. (See Figure3.1) This secures the isolated distance between the unit and items inside. Figure3.1. Mounting screw When you place several units side by side, make sure the temperature around each unit stays within the indicated range in the derating table.

    3 Function Description Derating - Derating by input voltage Figure3.3. below shows derating curve by input voltage. Figure3.3. A ripple and a ripple noise specification varies in the shadow area (figure 3.4). This unit should stay within temperature measurement points (explained below) as well.

    3 Function Description Warranty Table3.3. Warranty Grounding When mounting the power unit, do not fail to connect an input FG terminal and the unit frame (at least two places) to the ground wire. Remarks When power is on or right after being turned off, be aware the unit is very hot. Always exercise extreme caution for handling In case of connecting a condenser with a large volume, outputting may stop or unstable movements occur.
