Functions
The UPEU performs the following functions:

LED
The UPEU has one LED, which indicates the operating status of the UPEU.

NOTE
The UPEUa and UPEUb are differentiated by the silkscreens on the panels, which display -48 V and +24
V respectively. The UPEUc has UPEUc label, which is different from the UPEUa.
Converts -48 V DC or +24 V DC power into +12 V DC, which is the operating voltage of
the boards.
Provides two RS485 signal ports with each transmitting one RS485 signal and two Boolean
signal ports with each transmitting four Boolean signals.
