Choosing a Role for the Shutter Button
Confi gure the shutter button as a R (movie record) button. A release cable can
then be used to start or stop recording when the mode dial is rotated to n (movie).
The button functions as a shutter button. It can be used to initiate autofocus. It
w
cannot be used to take pictures.
Press the shutter button all the way down to start or stop movie recording.
RREC
• The R button cannot be used for movie recording when [RREC] is selected.
Press the MENU button to display the menus.

menu and press I on the arrow pad.

Highlight [n Shutter Function] using the FG
buttons and press the I button.

and press the OK button.
Press the MENU button repeatedly to exit the
