Gantry Crane basics Capabilities of the Gantry Crane our Gantry Crane’s hook and electromagnet are capable of lifting approximately 4 oz (1/4 lb). The electromagnet automatically turns off after 60 seconds. The electromagnet cannot be turned on again for 8 seconds. Maintenance and Service Storing the Gantry Crane hen you are ready to store your Gantry Crane, be sure to use the supplied elastic band to keep tension on the hook line. Position the boom manually using the rotating knob at the rear of the crane cab to fit in the foam cavity.
Lionel LLC or any Lionel Authorized Service Station MUST be accompanied by the original receipt for purchase (or copy) from an Authorized Lionel Retailer*, will at the discretion of Lionel LLC, be repaired or replaced, without charge for parts or labor. In the event the defective product cannot be repaired, and a suitable replacement is not available, Lionel will offer to replace the product with a comparable model (determined by Lionel LLC), if available.
