- Page 2 The hobby shop can be placed on any Lionel O-27 gauge, O gauge, or FasTrack three-rail layout and is designed to operate at 12-18 volts alternating current.
- Page 3 The first portion of the functionality is the lighting. You will see that there is a light above each individual layout. There are also bulbs which light up the front sign and Lionel logo. Near the counter are two flashers which flash at the rate of a typical railroad flasher. All of the interior and exterior lighting will come on when you power your layout.

These components would be the die-cast airplanes, which are found in your packaging. To attach these planes to your shop, start by simply removing the roof from the building.

- Page 6 Operating your hobby shop in Command Control our Lionel Cowen's Corner Hobby Shop can be used in a Command Control environment with the use of a SC-2. We recommend that you connect the fire hydrant on the left-hand side directly to your track power or a separate accessory power supply.
- Page 7 Replacing the lamp in your hobby shop ix 18-volt fuse lamps (Lionel part # 30-2998-300) and one 18-volt bulb (Lionel part # 30-2960- 300) illuminate the inside and outside of hobby shop. During the course of normal operations, these bulbs may require replacement. To replace the bulb located in the Lionel circle “L” logo, remove the front cover, remove the expired bulb, and replace it with a fresh one.

Any products on which warranty service is sought must be sent freight or postage prepaid (Lionel will refuse any package when postage is due). Transportation and shipping charges are not covered as part of this warranty.
