Connecting the Marine Climate System

WARNING!
Turn off AC power supply circuit breaker before opening electrical box and
accessing the terminal strip.

NOTE
Failure to properly ground and bond the system will void the warranty!

The following guidelines should be followed during the connection of the
Marine Climate System:
The correct size circuit breaker should be used to protect the system as spec-
ified on the air conditioning unit's data plate label.
Install and ground/bond AC power source in accordance with marine elec-
trical standards.
Use a minimum of 3.5 mm² boat cable
– to supply power to the air conditioning unit
– to supply power to the seawater pump
– to extend the wires on the pump
Any electrical connections in the bilge below the waterline should use seal-
ing heat shrink type butt splices.
