Overview:

LPS5C24X linear power supply/charger will convert a 115VAC 50/60Hz input to a 3.5 amp 24VDC continuous true UPS
output. The output stays regulated until the battery discharges to 25% capacity.
Specifications:

• Thermal and overload protection and
with autoreset.
Battery Backup:
• Built in charger for sealed lead acid batteries.
• Automatic switchover to stand-by
battery when AC Fails.
• PTC battery protection.
• Maximum charge current .3 amp.
Visual Indicators:
• AC input and DC output LED indicators.
Supervision:
• Low battery and AC fail supervision
(dry relay outputs 1 amp @ 28VDC).
Additional Features:
• Includes battery leads.

Installation Instructions:

The LPS5C24X should be installed in accordance with The National Electrical Code and all applicable
Local Regulations.
1. Mount the LPS5C24X in desired location.
2. Connect AC power to the black and white flying leads of the transformer (Fig. 1). Connect green lead to the earth
ground. Use 18 AWG or larger for all power connections (Battery, DC output).
3. Measure output voltage before connecting devices. This helps avoid potential damage.
4. Connect devices to be powered to terminals marked [+ DC -- ] (Fig. 1).
5. Connect battery to terminals marked [+ BAT -- ] (Fig. 1) on the unit (battery leads included).
Note: When batteries are not used a loss of AC will result in loss of output voltage.
