To remove the control block from the mount on Maytag washer model MDB8959SKBO (earlier models):
1. Unplug the dishwasher or disconnect power.
2. Remove the outer door panel (refer to page 4-4 in the manual).
3. Disconnect harnesses from the control board.
4. Depress the locking tab (see Figure 3 in the manual).
5. Slide the electronic control to the left to unhook the tabs on the back of the control from the slots in the door bracket (see Figure 4 in the manual).
