Retaining Ring Tool Specifications
The following tool is recommended for the efficient and safe installation or removal of the retaining rings used in
the pump. It should be manufactured from a hard material, such as steel.

The retaining ring tool is especially useful when assembling the gears on the drive and idler shafts
(see Appendix 5). It can also be used to facilitate installation of the inner magnet on the drive shaft
(see Section 5.4, Page 25).
