2.2 How to print on special media such as thick stock?
You can print on special media such as transparencies, labels, heavy paper, glossy paper and
card stock, by using the optimizing feature in the printer driver.
For printing on special media both the printer and the printer driver have to be setup.
In case multiple input trays are installed, the different input trays can be set to different
types of media. The printer will, depending on the driver settings, automatically select the
corresponding paper tray.
2.2.1 Setup the printer.
NOTE: You can also use Page Scope Web Connection for changing the media type for a
certain input tray.
1. Press the
button.
2. Press the
button till Paper Menu is highlighted.
3. Press the
button.
4. Press the
button till Paper Source is highlighted.
5. Press the
button.
6. Press the
button till Tray1 or Tray2 is highlighted.
7. Press the
button.
8. Press the
button till Paper Type is highlighted.
9. Press the
button.
10. Press the
button till the required media type is highlighted.
11. Press the
button.
12. Press the
button till ready is shown in the printer menu.
