Pausing MP3/WMA playback

Pause lets you temporarily stop playback of
the MP3/WMA.

Press FUNCTION to select PAUSE.
Press FUNCTION until PAUSE appears in the
display.

Press ROTARY ENCODER to turn pause
on or off.
Press ROTARY ENCODER repeatedly to turn
between the following settings:
PAUSE :ON (on)PAUSE :OFF (off)
! PAUSE :ON  Play of the current track
pauses.
! PAUSE :OFF  Play will resume at the same
point that you turned pause on.
Selecting folders from the
folder title list
Folder title list lets you see the list of folder ti-
tles and select one of them to playback.

Press FUNCTION to select FOLDR LIST.
Press FUNCTION until FOLDR LIST appears in
the display.

Rotate ROTARY ENCODER to scroll
through the list of titles that have been en-
tered.
# If the folder number is more than 100, last 2-
digit of the folder number is displayed.

Press ROTARY ENCODER to play your
favorite folder title.
That selection will begin to play.

Selecting the search method

You can switch the search method between
fast forward/reverse and searching every 10
track.

Press FUNCTION to select FF/REV.
Press FUNCTION until FF/REV appears in the
display.
# If the search method ROUGH SRCH has been
previously selected, ROUGH SRCH will be dis-
played.

Rotate ROTARY ENCODER to select the
search method.
Rotate ROTARY ENCODER until the desired
search method appears in the display.
! FF/REV  Fast forward and reverse
! ROUGH SRCH  Searching every 10
track
Searching every 10 track in
the current folder
If the current folder contains over 10 tracks,
you can search every 10 track. When the one
folder contains a lot of tracks, you can roughly
search the track you want to play.

Select the search method
ROUGH SRCH.
Refer to Selecting the search method on this
page.

Rotate and hold ROTARY ENCODER to
search every 10 track in the current folder.
# If the current folder contains less than 10
tracks, rotating and holding clockwise recalls the
last track of the folder. Also, if the remaining
number of tracks after searching every 10 tracks
are less than 10, rotating and holding clockwise
recalls the last track of the folder.
