Install latch
DO NOT FULLY tighten latch faceplate screws

Install exterior spindle and chassis assembly
IMPORTANT! Spring cage arrow must point in
direction of lever down rotation.

Install interior spindle
INTERIOR
IMPORTANT: The spindle screw will not fully
tighten against the spindle.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!

Install interior chassis
Do not overtighten chassis screws
IMPORTANT! Spring cage
arrow must point in direction
of lever down rotation.

the thick door kit.

Install exterior rose and lever

Place the rose over the mounting plate and spindle.

Place the lever over the rose and spindle.

By hand only, thread the lever bushing on the mounting
plate. If Privacy Lock, hold the rose firmly in place to
ensure proper alignment.
IF DIFFICULT TO
ASSEMBLE, check
that latch screws are
NOT fully tightened.

Tighten the lever bushing using the spanner wrench.
