> Settings to customize the app and your home's sound.

Sonos accounts

During setup you'll create a Sonos account that you'll use to manage and expand your Sonos system—both
in the app and on www.sonos.com.
If you need to verify your user ID, change a password, or transfer your account to a different email address,
tap
> Settings > Account Settings.
If you don't see Account Settings, check to see if there's a Sonos update available.
In-app messages
We'll keep you up to date by sending notifications and important messages to you through the app. You can
turn off messaging anytime.
Sign in to your account at

Tap Profile > Edit Profile > Send me Company Product Information.

Usage data

To help us improve our products and services, Sonos would like to collect usage data about how you use your
Sonos system. We never provide any of this information to third parties. To learn more, go to our website at 
www.sonos.com/legal/usage-data.
You can change your preference setting at any time.
Touch
> Settings.

Touch Advanced Settings > Usage Data.

Beta program
Join the Sonos Beta Program to test new features and help us improve our products.

Volume control

You can control the volume on your Sonos system using speaker touch controls, the app, or your voice (if you
have a voice-enabled speaker). Here are a few additional ways to control the volume.
Control volume using your device's buttons
Use your mobile device's volume buttons to control the volume on Sonos even when you're not in the app.
• On an iOS device, tap
www.sonos.com
and tap My Account.
> Settings > App Settings > Hardware Volume Control.
