Manual Tele-Frame System (MTF) Radar Arch-Mount Application
1) Mark the position of the mounting clamps (Figs 1 – 5)
2) Secure the mounting clamps in place (Figs 1 – 5)
3) Secure the actuators in place (Figs 1 – 5)
4) Secure stanchions to set shade width and prevent side movement (Fig 6)
5) Secure the mid crossbar in place (Fig 7)

NOTE: THE ACTUATOR AND LATERAL STANCHION TUBING IS NOT CUT TO LENGTH. THEY WILL
HAVE TO BE CUT TO LENGTH BY THE INSTALLER.

Position and secure mounting clamps and actuators into place

Using the wooden spacer, line up the two (2) mounting clamps on the underside of the arch to determine the position of
both actuators (Fig 1) and mark the position of the mounting plates and mounting hole locations on the underside of the
radar arch. We recommend using a piece of rubber between the mounting plate and the fiberglass (NOT SUPPLIED BY
SURESHADE).

  • Page 3 With the spacer positioned in the area of the actuator stanchions (shown in Fig 5 above), next tie in the actuator stanchions with the lateral support stanchion to the boat’s stationary top to set the width of the SureShade and prevent the SureShade from side-to-side movement (Fig 6).
