Running a Method or a Sequence from the Keypad
Running Methods from the Keypad
To manually inject a sample with a syringe and start a run
To run a method to process a single ALS sample
To abort a method

Prepare the sample syringe for injection.

Load the desired method. (See

Press [Prep Run].

Wait for STATUS Ready for Injection to be displayed.

Insert the syringe needle through the septum and all the
way into the inlet.
Simultaneously depress the syringe plunger to inject the

sample and press [Start].
Prepare the sample for injection.

Load the sample vial into the assigned location in the

ALS tray or turret.
Load the desired method. (See

Press [Start] on the GC keypad to initiate the ALS syringe
4
cleaning, sample loading, and sample injection method.
After the sample is loaded into the syringe, the sample is
automatically injected when the GC reaches the ready
state.
Press [Stop].
