Door adjustment

≪Height adjustment≫
① Lower the door to bring the arms in level as shown below.
② Loosen fixation screw.
③ Adjust height by turning the height adjustment screw as shown below.
A graduation is visible on the side of the mounting plate to show height adjustment.
④ Re-tighten fixation screw firmly.

Height adjustment range(±2mm)
Ensure that the fixation is securely fastened.
Always loosen fixation screw before attempting to adjust the height. Failure to do so will damage the mounting plate.
Always adjust the height with a manual screwdriver. Never use an electrical one.
When adjusting the height, do not exceed the range shown on the graduation on the side of the mounting plate.
≪Horizontal adjustment≫
① Take off the door as shown below
② Loosen the mounting plate installation screws.
③ Adjust mounting plate position as needed.
④ Tighten mounting plate installation screws.
Horizontal adjustment range：±1mm
Ensure that all screws are securely fastened.
Ensure that both mounting plates are moved similarly in order to keep the correct mounting pitch.

① Fix the side cover
on Left & Right.
Align the side cover
on the oblong holes
as shown & push
to fix.
② Fix the body cover
on Left & Right.
Align the body cover
on the oblong holes ①

① Push the release
lever.

･SLU-ELAN stay contains some very strong springs: for your own safety, do not fold the arm before
it is securely attached to the door. Failure to observe this advice may leadto bodily injury.
･Do not disassemble the arm or body of the stay.
･Please use this stay only within the specifications shown on page 2.
･Standard temperature of use is 0 to 40℃.
･Make sure to install the connecting bar (sold separately) as this item will not function without it.

Warranty

･SLU-ELAN stay was produced with a particular attention to its quality.
Should you however experience any difficulty, please refer to your local supplier or Sugatsune Export Department (export@sugatsune.co.jp).
･The liability of Sugatsune is limited to the replacement or repair of the stay itself.
Sugatsune cannot accept any liability for damage incurred while using this stay.
･Standard guaranty is for a one-year period from the date of shipment.
