Page 11: Set-Up Wi-Fi Ip Camera Function
Download & install the RecorderGear APP (See section 5) on your iOS/Android device. Turn ON the LC500W. Allow 2 minutes for your LC500W to set up & transmit a Wi-Fi signal. Locate the camera UID on the QR code sticker of your LC500W. - Page 12 NOTE: The UID & QR code is unique to your device. Open the Wi-Fi Settings of your iOS/ Android device, then select the camera’s UID (matches the QR code sticker) from the Wi-Fi list.
- Page 13 Open the RecorderGear APP & tap Search (upper right corner); you should see the LC500W’s UID, tap to connect to it & and it will be added to your camera list. NOTE: If the LC500W’s UID doesn’t show up in the search, you can add the camera manually by tapping the Add Camera (upper right corner).
- Page 14 Start viewing the live video feed by selecting the camera on the Live Video/ Main Page NOTE: At this point, you can only operate the APP within range of the LC500W’s Wi-Fi signal. For full Wi-Fi IP camera functionality, complete the next section 6-2.
- Page 15 Tap Wi-Fi Settings & select your Home/ Business Wi-Fi name. Enter your Home/ Business Wi-Fi password as prompted. Tap OK to accept the connection. Confirm you want to connect the LC500W to the selected Wi-Fi, by tapping OK. It will then say Device Reset, tap OK.
