Luggage or Ski Racks

We recom m end the use of drip rail
m ounted ski and roof racks. These
racks do not require additional sup­
ports (suction cups or legs). Such
s upports may lead to marring of the
paint or even denting of the roof if
excessive w eight is placed on the
rack. Your MERCEDES-BENZ dealer
can give fu rth er advice.

Spare Wheel, Jack, Vehicle Tool Kit

The spare wheel (1), jack (2) and the
tool kit are stored in a com partm ent
below the trunk floor.
Fold back trun k flo o r mat and remove
cover plate.
W arning:
The jack is designed exclusively for
jacking up the vehicle at the jack
tubes provided on either side of the
vehicle. Use the jack only to lift the
vehicle during a tire change. Never
get beneath the vehicle while it is
supported only by the jack. Jack
stands m ust be used when working
under the vehicle.
