General Storage
Your kayak can be stored either right-side-up or upside-down. Ensure that you
have supports on or near the bulkheads. We recommend using padded supports
or straps that are a minimum of 1" in diameter to support your kayak on racks or
hanging from a suspended point. Before you store your kayak, it is important that
you have inspected and cleaned out sand and gravel underneath the seat and in
the side seat tracks. Make sure all salt water is thoroughly rinsed off. It is good
practice to use a Delta Kayaks cockpit cover during storage. It is best to store
your kayak out of direct sunlight whenever possible to further prolong the life of
your kayaks outfitting, seat padding and internal cockpit surfaces.
Do not cover cockpit or dry storage areas with hatches or seals until the in-
side of the kayak is completely dry as this may result in the formation of mold or
mildew
Do not suspend your kayak using the bow and stern grab loops. They are not
designed for this purpose.
