Chapter 3: Configuration 3. Configuration Follow the steps described here to configure the 8-Port Gigabit Web Smart switch. Step 1: Using a twisted-pair cable, connect the switch to your PC. Step 2: Set your PC’s IP to 192.168.1.xx. Step 3: Open the Web browser (like Internet Explorer…), and go to 192.168.1.1 site.
