Install the MP-Dock device driver
1.
Click the APPLE icon in the far left of the Finder menu bar.
2.
Select About This Mac and check if the Mac has a G-series or an Intel
processor.
3.
Click Go in the Finder menu bar and then Applications.
4.
Scroll down to the MP DataLink folder and open it.
5.
Select and open the Drivers folder.
6.
Select a processor:
•
If the computer runs on an Intel processor, double-click the
FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_9.dmg file.
•
If your computer runs on a G-series processor, double-click the
FTDIUSBSerialDriver.pkg file.
The driver installation software launches, and the Install FTDIUSBSerialDriver
Kernel Extension window opens.
7.
Click CONTINUE on the introduction window to install the FTDIUSB Serial
Driver Kernel Extension.
