1.3.3 AP304/5 Sensors
These sensors are hot tap, ball valve insertion types. They enable sensor maintenance or replacement without interrupting the
process.
An integral safety anti-blowout tip is incorporated into the sensor design preventing accidental sensor removal. Unlike chain
restraints, this safety-by-design is an integral part of the construction.
The sensor is inserted through a standard 1
Connection to the ball valve is by compression fitting which is available in either hand-tight with 1
wrench-tight with 1 in. NPT threads.
— AP304 models have no sensor guard (flush).
— AP305 models have a notched sensor guard.
