NOTE:
Your computer's Service Tag is stored in the system board. You must enter the Service Tag in the BIOS setup program
after you replace the system board.
NOTE:
Replacing the system board removes any changes you have made to the BIOS using the BIOS setup program. You must
make the appropriate changes again after you replace the system board.

Procedure

1
Align the screw holes on the system board with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Replace the two screws (M2x3) that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Connect the touch-screen board cable from the system board.
4
Close the latch and connect the display cable to the system board.
5
Align the display-cable bracket and replace the two screws that secure the display-cable bracket to the system board.

Align the Type-C bracket and remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the Type-C bracket to the system board.
7
Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
8
Close the latch and connect the touchpad cable to the system board.
9
Close the latch and connect the keyboard cable to the system board.
10
Close the latch and connect the keyboard-backlight cable to the system board.
11
Connect the I/O-board cable to its connector on the system bard.
12
Adhere the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to its connector on the system board.
13
Connect the I/O-board cable to its connector on the system bard.
14
Adhere the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to its connector on the system board.
15
Connect the fan cable to its connector on the system bard.
16
Adhere the tape that secures the fan cable to its connector on the system board.
