TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING
To avoid any injury or damage, the unit must be
serviced by qualified personnel only.
SYMPTOM
Unit is plugged in but nothing
works.
Unit is energized, but LED's
do not work.
Unit operates correctly, but
display does not show any
information.
No heat when unit is turned
on.
Heat inadequate.
Conveyor belt squeaks.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Electrical outlet incorrect
voltage.
Power cord inoperable.
ON/OFF switch inoperable.
Electronic Control Board
is inoperable.
Electronic Control Board
is inoperable.
ON/OFF switch inoperable.
Heating element(s) inoperable.
Incorrect settings for food
product.
Heating element(s) inoperable.
Excessive friction.

WARNING
To avoid any injury or damage to the unit, turn
the power OFF at the fused disconnect
switch/circuit breaker and allow to cool before
performing any maintenance.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check electrical outlet and verify power
supply matches specification plate on unit.
Check that there is power to the outlet. Check
circuit breaker and reset, or plug unit into a
different known working receptacle.
Make sure power cord connections inside unit
are tight and secure.
Check cord for signs of wear/damage.
Replace if necessary.
Check ON/OFF switch. If there is power
to switch but no power out, replace switch.
Make sure wiring connections inside of unit
are tight and secure. If secure, replace
Electronic Control Board (Hatco part number
02.01.226.00).
Make sure wiring connections inside of unit
are tight and secure. If secure, replace
Electronic Control Board (Hatco part number
02.01.226.00).
Check ON/OFF switch. If there is power
to switch but no power out, replace switch.
Wiring open; check for power at element(s). If
no power, check wiring for break or burned off
lug. Repair or replace as necessary.
Defective element(s). Check element(s)
for continuity. Replace if necessary.
See PROGRAMMING THE UNIT and reset
program settings.
