 Do not clean the pitcher with harsh cleansers, steel wool, or other abrasive materials.
 Do not use a cracked pitcher or a pitcher having a loose or weakened handle.

Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding. Accessory
parts may be contained within the packaging material.
Remove the filter and brew basket. Rinse the filter in warm water only. Washing the
filter with soap is optional, as any residue my affect the taste of your tea. Wash the
brew basket, cover, infusion tube, and pitcher in warm, soapy water. Rinse
thoroughly.
Note: To remove any manufacturing residues in the appliance, we recommend
running at least one brew cycle, with water only, through the appliance. Follow the
directions in the "TO MAKE TEA" section of this manual but do not use any tea
leaves, bags, or fruit.
