This section covers switching basics and is arranged as

2.2 Basic switch configuration (DPST)
A simplified schematic of the Model 7013 switch card
is shown in Figure 2-1. The card consists of 20 indepen-
dent channels. Each channel is made up of a double-
pole single-throw (DPST), normally open (NO) switch.
