Cleaning and Maintaining the Camcorder
Cleaning the Video Heads
To ensure normal recording and clear pictures, clean the video heads
when the playback pictures display square block-shaped noise or
distortion, or a blue screen appears.
1. Set the Power switch to PLAYER.
2. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
(VP-D453(i)/D454(i)/D455(i) only)
3. Insert the cleaning tape.
4. Press the
(PLAY/STILL) button.
5. Press the
(STOP) button after 10 seconds.

Check the quality of the picture using a videocassette.

If the picture quality has not improved, repeat the operation.

Clean the video heads with a dry type cassette cleaner.

Some cleaning cassette products stop automatically. Refer to the
cleaning cassette's instructions for detailed information.
If the problem continues after the cleaning, consult your nearest
Samsung dealer or Authorized Service Centre.

Para asegurarse de que las grabaciones resulten normales y las
imágenes sean claras, limpie los cabezales de vídeo cuando, al
reproducir las imágenes, éstas se vean distorsionadas, se oigan
ruidos extraños o aparezca una pantalla azul.

1. Coloque el interruptor Power en PLAYER.
2. Ajuste el interruptor de modalidad en TAPE.

3. Introduzca la cinta de limpieza.
4. Pulse el botón
(PLAY/STILL) button.
5. Pasados 10 segundos, pulse el botón

Compruebe la calidad de la imagen empleando un videocasete.

Si no ha mejorado, repita la operación.

Limpie los cabezales de vídeo con una cinta limpiadora en seco.

Algunos productos de cintas de limpieza se detienen
automáticamente. Consulte las instrucciones de la cinta de
limpieza para obtener más detalles. Si el problema persiste tras la
limpieza, consulte al distribuidor más cercano de Samsung o al
Centro de servicio autorizado.
