Significance of the operating instructions

These operating instructions are a component of the
unit, and must:
always, i.e. until the unit is disposed of, be kept
close at hand.
be passed on if the unit is sold, disposed of or hired
out.
The manufacturer must be contacted if any part of the
operating instructions is not completely clear.
The single disc machine has been constructed accord-
ing to the state-of-the-art and in accordance with the
valid regulations; the unit may nevertheless be the
source of unavoidable residual dangers to persons and
material assets. For this reason, all persons who are
involved in the operation of this unit, in the transporta-
tion, assembly, operation, maintenance and repair of
this unit, must be instructed and be aware of the possi-
ble dangers. To this end, the operating instructions
and, in particular, the safety instructions, must be
carefully read, comprehended and complied with.
A lack of, or insufficient, knowledge of the operating
instructions leads to the loss of any right to make li-
ability claims against the manufacturer. It is therefore
recommended that the operator have the instruction of
personnel confirmed in writing.
