The Innova is normally calibrated with methane gas, but responds to a variety
of hydrocarbons (refer to Table B-2).

sensor.
Please note that response varies from one sensor to another and the relative response of a sensor can change with the age of the sensor. These data
should be used for estimation purposes only.
Assuming an instrument calibrated directly for hexane or methane, but used to observe a different gas, the equivalent response in % LEL (or ppm)
for that gas is secured by multiplying the observed% LEL (or ppm) reading by the LEL (or ppm) scale conversion factor.
