TRAFFIC SYSTEMS

WARNING: Traffic information shown on the G1000 Multi Function Display
is provided as an aid in visually acquiring traffic. Pilots must maneuver
the aircraft based only upon ATC guidance or positive visual acquisition of
conflicting traffic.
• If Traffic information Service (TIS) is configured, a STANDBY, OPERATE, and
TNA MUTE Softkey is displayed.
• If a Traffic Advisory System (TAS) is configured, a STANDBY, NORMAL, TEST,
and ALT MODE Softkey is displayed.
• If a TCAS II system is configured, a REL, ABS, TRC STBY, TA ONLY, TA/RA,
TEST, and ALT RNG Softkey is displayed.

Traffic Information Service (TIS)
NOTE: If the G1000 is configured to use an optional Traffic Advisory System
(TAS), TIS is not available for use.
NOTE: Traffic Information Service (TIS) is only available when the aircraft is
within the service volume of a TIS capable terminal radar site.
