2-6 REMOVAL OF FANCASE AND AIR SHROUD
2-6-1
The upper air shroud is held in place by 6 phill ips head
screws.

Remove the lower air shroud by taking out the 3 philli ps
head screws that secure it.

Stra ighten the bent positions of lock washers 1 and 2,
and remove the bolts. The fancases 1 and 2 can be
removed out of the crankcase.
(Note that a packing agent gasket is appl ied to the mating
surfaces of the fanca ses 1 and 2.)
