Ensure that the upper anchorage strap is not

twisted.
Tension upper anchorage strap. Comply with

the manufacturer's installation instructions
when doing so.
When simultaneously using the left-hand

and right-hand rear seats: do not tighten
the upper anchorage straps before both child
restraint systems have been secured to the
upper anchorage fitting.
Tighten the child restraint systems alter‐

nately in order to ensure equal tension.

Instructions for Safe Usage of the Jack

DO NOT GET UNDER A VEHICLE THAT IS
SUPPORTED BY A JACK.
The jack should be used on level, firm ground

wherever possible.
It is recommended that the wheels of the

vehicle be chocked, and that no person
should remain in a vehicle that is being
jacked.
No person should place any portion of their

body under a vehicle that is supported by a
jack.
