Playing back the Tape

4, This Camcordercan convertan NTSC tape recorded in the SP mode to the "PAL60"format,
allowing you to view it on a PALTV which has Verticalsync adjustmentcircuitry for 60Hz.
"PAL60"is a special output signalformat withwhich a PALTV can be usedto view a tape recorded
by an NTSC recorder.
1. Set POWERswitchto PLAYERmode,
2. Insert an NTSCtape you want to see.
3. Press MENU ON/OFFbutton,then the MENU list will appear,
4. Turnthe UP/DOWNdial to "PAL CONV...,,,OFF"
5. Press ENTER,then it will change to "PAL CONV......PAL60"
• Now you can see the picture by pressingthe PLAY button,
6. Press MENU ON/OFFbuttonto end setting.
Notes: 1,This Camcordercan not record using the "PAL60"system,
2, When an NTSC tape is being played back, the picture on the PAL monitor screen may shrink in
the Vertical direction,
3, If the signal recorded on the tape is in bad condition,the PAL60playbacksystem may malfunction,
4, A PAL recordedtapecan not be played back on this camcorder,
A
