Setting the Shutter Speed

The Shutter Speed function works in M and S modes.
By controlling the shutter speed and aperture, you may adjust the overall brightness of the image.
Slower shutter speeds require more lighting. Faster shutter speeds require less lighting.
For fast moving subjects, a slow shutter setting will produce a motion blurring effect.
1. Set the Power switch to
2. Set the Mode Dial to M or S.
3. Press the Quick menu selector.
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select Shutter Speed Setting.

The current Shutter Speed value will be selected in Green.
5. Move the Joystick to the left or right to set the desired shutter speed.
Available Shutter Speed Range: 1/2000 ~ 15.0 seconds

6. When you are satisfied, press the Quick menu selector.
The selected aperture setting is displayed.
