Pairing the Base Station using the
VVX Phone
You can pair the base station with the VVX phone from the Features menu
on the VVX phone. When the base station is paired with the phone, the
Handset Icon displays on the phone.
Pair the Base Station via the PC Port
When the Ethernet cable is connected from the Base Station LAN port to the
VVX PC port, the phone pairs with the base station automatically.
To pair with the base station via PC Port Pairing:
1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the LAN Port on the base station to the
PC Port on the phone.
2. On the phone, navigate to Settings > Features >
VVX D60 Configuration.
3. Select VVX D60 Profile, then select Enable.
4. On the VVX D60 Configuration screen, select Base Station, then
select PC Port Pairing.
Pair the Base Station via Auto Pairing
When the Ethernet cable is connected from the Base Station LAN port into a
LAN outlet, the phone pairs with the base station automatically.
To pair with the base station via Automatic Discovery:
1. On the phone, navigate to Settings > Features > VVX D60
Configuration.
2. Select VVX D60 Profile, then select Enable.
3. On the VVX D60 Configuration screen, select Base Station, then
select Auto Pairing.
4. When the base station displays, select Pair.
Register a VVX D60 Wireless Handset
After the VVX D60 Base Station is paired with the VVX phone, you can regis-
ter up to five wireless handsets to the base station.
To register the wireless handset with the base station:
1. On the wireless handset, navigate to Settings > Features >
Registration, then select Register.
2. The wireless handset displays a message informing you to press the
FIND button or register on the VVX phone.
3. Press and hold the Find button on the base station for more than five
seconds.
4. The wireless handset displays Register to VVX D-60?.
5. Select Yes to confirm the registration with the base station.
6. When the registration is successful, the screen displays Registration
Successful.
