12. Troubleshooting

If the product gives off abnormal noise, smell, smoke or heat, turn the power off immediately.
Check the following items for troubleshooting.
Symptom
The POWER lamp on the
power supply section does
not turn on.
The "ERR." LED on the
CC-Link communication
section is lighting or blinking.
The "ERR." LED on the
server section is lighting.
The "STA." LED on the
server section is blinking for
a long time.
"E0" is displayed on the
7-segment LED on the
server section.
"E1" is displayed on the
7-segment LED on the
server section.
"E2" is displayed on the
7-segment LED on the
server section.
"E3" is displayed on the
7-segment LED on the
server section.
"E4" is displayed on the
7-segment LED on the
server section.
The indication rotates on the
7-segment LED on the
server section.
If you cannot solve your trouble in accordance with the check items above, contact your supplier or us.
 Is the power supply (100 to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz) properly connected between L
and N on the terminal block of the power supply section?
 Is there any short-circuit or break in the power line?
Is there any error in communication with CC-Link terminal devices? Check
whether CC-Link terminal devices, CC-Link station numbers and CC-Link baud
rate are properly configured and communication cables and termination resistors
are properly connected.
 The battery is at the end of its life. Replace the battery.
(See 6.2 Replacing the battery.)
 Is the battery connected?
The data in the memory card is being restored during startup. The product starts
up normally after a few minutes.
AC100 to 240V (+10%,-15%) 50/60Hz is not connected to V1,V2 in demand
terminal block. It is possible to take the power from the power supply section.
Access to the internal memory has failed.
Reset the product.
Access to the CompactFlash memory card has failed.
Reset the product.
Automatic time adjustment with the SNTP server has failed.
Check whether normal communication can be established with the SNTP server
or settings in the SNTP server are correct.
File transfer to the FTP server has failed.
Check whether normal communication can be established with the FTP server or
settings in the FTP server are correct.
Is any CompactFlash card other than that supplied with the product connected?
Only the supplied CompactFlash card can be used. Connect the supplied card.

the right side of main product by the
sheet in the right.
