    Calibration basics Tait TM8000 radios are designed to be totally electronically tuned. No physical tuning is required, as all tuning is done by electronic trimming usually in the form of a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The calibration process uses a PC running the calibration software, which is connected to a radio via an RS232 programming cable.
